Encounter Canada recently began running city quest games in Winnipeg. Not sure what that is? Imagine doing a version of The Amazing Race in your home town. Teams complete to complete puzzles, solve clues, and find codes throughout the various parts of the city.
Members of The Monday Society took part in Encounter’s first Winnipeg game a few weeks ago, and after a bitter defeat we decided to sign up for round two. This week’s challenges were 8-Bit video game themed. Four teams entered and everyone did an amazing job – it was neck & neck at some points.
We rocked the competition, had an awesome time, and I don’t think I’ve run uphill so hard in my whole life! At the end we came out victorious and got to celebrate our victory. We can’t wait to try their next game!
